By utilizing and optimizing our client’s Jane account, we teach our clients how to check our work and what to expect from our work.

Accountability

We communicate with our clients each time we work their account and bring every denial/rejection to them with a plan of action. We also carry E&O insurance (as any good medical biller should!) in the unlikely event that our work causes claim denials, and we need to ensure that our client is rightly compensated for their work.

Education

We believe strongly in educating our clients about how to work with the insurance industry, as well as many other aspects of running a healthcare business. Additionally, we believe in educating ourselves in this ever-changing field by being members of the American Medical Billing Association and keeping up with our CEU requirements.

In order to maintain our lower-than-average rates, we maintain a high level of efficiency by always improving our workflows, systems and operations. We also help our clients achieve these same goals by providing them with an ever-expanding workflow video library available for free to our contracted clients.

We’re relentless, born out of a sense of justice and fairness, we eat, sleep and breathe holding insurance companies to account any chance we get on behalf of our clients.

FAQs

  • Our pricing is customized based on claim volume, provider specialty, business size, and account complexity. We provide a flat-rate monthly quote valid for six months, reassessed biannually. We prefer working with Claim.MD as our clearinghouse since it integrates with Jane App. If you require patient billing services, this will result in a slightly higher quote.

  • We follow multiple levels of review, run reports on claims older than 60 days, and conduct annual internal audits. Our staff has diverse expertise, and we take strong measures to ensure HIPAA compliance and data security. We also adhere to the Office of the Inspector General’s (OIG) regulations for medical billers.

  • We specialize in working with alternative healthcare providers such as chiropractors, naturopaths, acupuncturists, and massage therapists. We also handle claims and billing for physical therapists, occupational therapists, and mental health therapists.

    Additionally, we have experience with nurse practitioners and surgeons using Jane App.

  • Yes! We actively follow up on denied claims, investigate the cause, and appeal when necessary to ensure correct processing and reimbursement.

  • Unfortunately, we only offer claims and billing services for Jane App users. However, we do provide business and practice consultation services for healthcare providers, regardless of their EHR software.

  • We typically access client accounts twice a week and respond to any questions via email at that time. Scheduled phone calls or Zoom meetings are available as needed.

    For urgent matters, include ”Urgent” in the email subject line for a quicker response. We aim to reply to all correspondence within a 48- to 72-hour business period.

  • Patient billing is an optional service requiring clients to be set up with Jane Payments.

    We submit invoices only for insurance patients and only after claims are fully processed.

    Clients receive a spreadsheet of who received invoices, and we do not correspond directly with patients.
